MOURNING BELOVETH: DVD, Early Album Reissues Due Next Year
June 19, 2005Irish doom metal act MOURNING BELOVETH have posted the following message on their official web site:
The [new MOURNING BELOVETH] album ['A Murderous Circus'] is out two months now and it seems the majority of people are slowly getting in to it, the stripped back, harsher sound takes some getting use to but when you dig beneath that it is still MOURNING BELOVETH. The interviews and press are dying down and we have been concentrating on tightening our set and our recent gigs in Paris and Dublin were well attended. Thanks to Rose and family for organising Paris for us and to the few Irish that came to see our first gig airing the new songs and they seemed to slot in perfectly with the older material. The gig in Whelans with PRIMORDIAL and SCALD sold out and it is further proof that the Irish metal scene is finally recognising there is plenty of homegrown talent to be proud of. We still have some gig shirts left from that night and they are available from Sentinel or just contact us. Our next gig is at Day of Darkness in pedigree on July 9th with ROTTING CHRIST and we are playing a different set to Dublin, should be another night of mayhem. After Day of Darkness we play Greece with PRIMORDIAL in September and after that we should have some shows in the U.K. and Germany. Keep an eye to the gigs page.
"We are slowly piecing together footage for the long-delayed DVD and we should have something ready early next year, but don't hold your breath. We have two full shows but are still missing the bulk of the domination tours which we need to get our hands on before we can go any further.
"Grau have decided to licence 'Dust' from Sentinel and 'The Sullen Sulcus' from Aftermath and they will be released probably as digipacks with no extra material early next year."
